Throughout our university years, and even though we were studying in different places, we noticed one common issue: it was very difficult to find good study material - be it papers, examples, tutorials or just plain knowledge, we were tied to internal, weird-looking and sometimes outdated webpages, somewhat lost at our university's domain. Changing this was the idea behind Lappiz, an application developed by Seegno and launched in partnership with Innovation Point, S. A..

Students are now able to share subject resources, research materials and interact with people from all over the world, merging education and global social networking and (we hope) easing the process of learning.

As our first big-sized project, with a very specific target audience, the success is being quite good: when launching, we had a surprisingly warm reception with peaks of thousands of visitors and hundreds of users, and, despite the usual hype curve, things are going nice and smooth, with lots of activity and, more importantly, students actually benefitting from the portal's information repository.
